My '53' Super A fires right up after only two or 3 revolutions when cold, but starts hard when it's warmed up. Would that be a fuel or electrical problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When it does start back up warm, does it puff out black smoke ? Or any other symptoms youcan think of ?

It's easy enough to tell. When it's warm, pull a plug wire and connect it to a spare spark plug and lay it on the block. Crank and check for spark and then you will know.

Could be the coil is starting to break down.

On my H it was either the coil or the condenser - I replaced them both at the same time so I would never be sure. If I had known what a pain the coil would be I would have tried the condenser before I ordered a coil.
