Hi guys

I did a compresion check, I got 110 psi on all 4 cyl. Now about timing the dist. On the front pully I find 3 notchs 2 are about 1/4" apart the third 1 is about 1/3 of the way around the pully. Witch one do I use? and can I use a timing light on it? What about carb adjustment Thanks for the help

Bill

Use the first mark of the pair. Don't use a timing light. Crank the engine to the first mark (TDC) and then adjust the distributor so the points just open at that position. The centrifugal advance spring will let you work the shaft to see the points open. Or you can get a book and do it with a static light.

I don't know how to adjust a carburetor other than by feel.
