The pump will run your power steering well but your rockshafts will work slower and weaker while you are turning at the same time. Mite want to add a seperate pump for the power steering.

Brian;
I just got a '49 SA, and am trying to find time too work on it.

The question I have is, why do you want power steering ? Are you going to add something to the front to make it harder to steer ?

Thanks.

UG!

I am putting power steering on it for a woman
to use to mow the lawn. Also as a novelty as
I have never seen a Super A with ps. It has
the Woods L59 belly mount mower. Thanks for all
of your help.

I believe the pump is 4.5 gallons and the max. pressure is 1500 psi.

Brian.
