I'm looking at a 656D Farmall with the T.A. Can anybody help me find the M.P.H. for the 10 forward speeds? Thanks for all your help. TIM

According to the manual it shows no difference between gas or diesel.Based on 15.5-38 r-1 tire.1st normal 2-1/2,ta 1-3/4.2nd normal 4,ta 2-3/4.3rd normal 5,ta 3-1/2.4th normal 7,ta 4-3/4.5th normal 16,ta 10-3/4.rev normal 2-3/4,ta 2 .This is at 1800 rpm.There is a difference on hydro.1st F 2-1/2,R 3.2nd F 4,R 5.3rd F 5,R 6.4th F 7,R 8-1/2.5th F 16,R 19-1/2.With 16.9-34 r-1 tires 1-1/2 percent less,With 14.9-38 r-1 and 18.4-34 r 1 tires 3 percent greater.

Tim: I don't have but am sure it will come. If not I have the figures for the Farmall 544, they will not be exact but having owned a 656 in past, I can say they are close. The ratio between gears will be exact. If you don't get a responce in 24 hours I will post these. This is IH sales literature and 544 on 13.6x38 tires I imagion 656 would have been done on 15.5x 38 tires. I don't remember for sure. For the time involved I will do it now. 1st- 2-1/2 and 1-3/4, 2nd- 4 and 2-3/4, 3rd- 5 and 3-1/4, 4th- 7 and 4-3/4, 5th- 18 and 12-1/4 and reverse- 2-3/4 and 2. In each case first figure is direct and second is TA
