I will be putting my cyillinder head back on my 460 diesel tommarow and I already have a new head gasket. My question to you guys and gals is weather or not to use sealer like permatex on the gasket or not. I wouldent think so but you never know these days. And also does anyone have any tips as to putting them back on? Thanks for any help.

put Barr's leak in the radiator prior to starting the engine. The gasket should be OK as is in my opinion with proper torqueing of the head bolts.

Spray a light coat of paint on it.
