My 11 John deere's have got a red one for company.I found a farmall 230 under a shed on concrete floor, I may a deal with the owner to trade out some electrical work for the tractor and all the equipment with it. the material cost me $124.32 and about 3hrs of my time. the tractor hasn't run in about 10 years, Hope I get it running.I did pull it and it does have oil pressure, I just don't quite know what I will do with it, since I have been Green all my life...

This is good now that you have a Red one. Now all the green ones have a higher standard to live by. Just joking, I'm actually jealous at what you got it for.

Ben, Glad to have you on board with a IH red one now. Don't let the folks over on the Green board know that you have this darlin in your barn, some may think bad of you. Anyway there is a wealth in info on these tractors here, Hollar and some one will chime in with an answer or incouragement. OBTW what do you call S. Texas? I am up here between Lampasas and Georgetown.
Later'
John A.

Hey Indy,
What are you doing on the red board, a little far from home heh! LOL They are all good, I love the green and red ones all. Dont you have a Massey? If they have big wheels on the back and small ones up front, I am interested. Post a picture of your Massey after you get it painted. have a great day from the Ozarks, Van

I've always had deere. I recently sold a deere to a guy that obviously needed it worse than I did judging by the price I got for it. I kinda got caught with my shorts down though, because summertime was right around the corner and I didn't have anything to cut grass with, so I picked up a IH 574 at a fair price just hoping to make it through the season and continue on shopping for something I really wanted. I love this little tractor. I haven't owned a green one since. The more I look into the red ones, I probally won't own another green one. You seen the bumper stickers that say " trucks are red, tractors are green" ? I've changed that up a little to suit my needs, " tractors are red, baby s@#t is green"

Ben, I'm glad to see that you crossed over! I was thinking, your post needs a pic! 11 JD's may be "JD's" but still would make an awesome pic!
