Don't know where you are but if freight doesn't become a problem I will trade you a good model H two wheel tricycle front end for your single wheel front end. E-mail me.

I have always liked the single front wheel on my H's in the past. They steer & turn corners sooo much easier especially if you had a metal ball bearing spinner knob!
We would put the double front or wide front on when using the Farmhand loader; they could carry a heavier load.
The double front will "shimmy" in road gear easier than the single front.

Your single wheel was made for cultivation. A dual front will give better flotation in loose, dry soil, but will clog up in mud as NE Cowman says. For land preparation, you want the dual front.

I'm sure I've got one. Wheels too. I think they drive nicer but they tend to load up with mud.
