If the engine speed stays up and your ground speed slows down then you are slipping the clutch. Check to see how much free play you have in the clutch pedal? Is it adjusted to specs? If you just replaced the clutch and this is the first that you have worked it then it is possible that when you originally adjusted the clutch the clutch pack or pressure plate may not have been seated properly and now it has worked itself into proper alignment. Oil on the clutch/pressure plate could also cause it to slip.
