tractor can run hot after a few hours. adding a gallon of anti freeze every 15 hours or less of heavy pto use. pulling wagons or just driving lessens this.nothing in oil. gauge will go from hot downward if it sits on low idle. there are minor leaks in top of radiator but nothing that would drain it. winter project???

It will surprise you how much water can leak out even from a minor leak.Get the leak fixed and since you have the nose off anyways, replace the thermostat.

Take a hose or pressure washer and wash out your radiator externally . Might be full of potato bugs, just kidding ,its probably full of dirt and after awhile it can't cool off. See Ya Tim K.
