Hey Fellas , Does anybody have a list of head numbers that states which should go with which. I know they interchange but I have a 8043 and I just can't remember if it is H or SH. I think this one came off a combine or U4 power unit.

ps. Also I just bought some belts for a H and they are made in USA. Wonder how long that will last before that supplier goes over seas?

HI TIM! I'll have to check the head on My Super H at home for the part number. Casting number would be what is in raised lettering. Part number could/would probably be different. I "THINK" the 8043 would be a straight H. Super H would be 357XXXR-1 or so part number. There were a few differences in the cast combustion chamber but the SH head should fit. And just so You know..... You used to live just north up the road 2-3 miles then east from MY Super H! Dad still wears His "FARMALLS FOREVER" Cap from time to time! There's still about 3 companies that make V-belts in the US. Pirelli has a plant in MN, Good Year makes some I think here in WI., Gates makes some too but I'm not sure where the plant is. I'd expect almost all belts from C/IH or C/NH would be US belts.

You had me thinking for awhile who you are until it came to me. Your Dad is a good man and when I head to Osco or Cambridge I always give him a horn blast and a big wave. Thanks for your info and as always "FARMALLS FOREVER" Tim K.
