So I went to look at an M today. The guy wanted $2800.00 for a 48 M. It was stock, no hydrolics added no 3 point. It had a belt pully. When I pulled the lever it didn't go? He says you have to spin it to get it to work? When I started it it sounded like it was running on two cylinders. I couldn't get it in 5th. The brakes were weak. I'm pretty sure he's got the wires mixed between two cylinders. When I pulled the wires for the 3rd and 4th cylinders off it actually ran better. It was arcing between two wires and meking it run on three. It was repainted and looked ok. I think it's worth $1400.00 half what he's asking, what do you think?

I think it's worth under $500. You may need to put lot$ of thing$ into this tractor. It all depends on how eager the buyer wants to buy, and the seller wants to sell.

$2800 in that shape is too high.

I paid 1100 for a 1948 M with decent tin, faded paint, and bad tires. I've got about $800 in new rubber (including installation) on mine. Prices are all over the board on M's.

I bought a 'M' last month. Paid $750.00
Rear tires are shot, but the tin is all there and in good shape. Has fenders and wheel weights. Also has two way hydrolics on the belly pump. Runs great too. Figure the tires will cost me less than $600.00 mounted. I figure $1350.00 is enough for an 'M' with new tires and all the other stuff this one has.

He's WAY too high, I've got mine in the photo ads for 1550 and all it needs is a brake adjusted. Not trying to make a sale, just letting you know I think he is too high.

Are you in Franklyn Grove, IL? Your tractor looks great. It would be a 15 hour ride to come and see it though, I'm in NY. I'd hate to take that ride and be dissapointed. Email me directly and tell me about the tractor. rfazio1951@verizon.net

Less than that.
Just about anywhere you could get a nice running M for 800 to 1200 bucks... If you shop around.
good luck
