I asked the other day what ya'll thought a 460 diesel was worth without having gone to look at it yet. I just checked it out.TA gears have been welded up.All sheet metal was straight and intact. Rear tires looked real good and fronts so so.Looked at muffler and seen no evidence of wet stacking or smoke. Has aux.hydraulics.Two point lift with draw bar and no other equipment. Used mainly to blow silage on dairy farm. He wants $2,000 ,but I think I could get it for $1,500. Is that too much? Need experienced feed back.

We got a 460 diesel nf at auction last year for 1700. It smoked pretty bad but ran well. After a new fuel injector pump and other odds and ends it cleaned up and purrs like a kitten. With that diesel engine you dont even need a ta. New glow plugs are a must. It's a hard starter, but once you get it going its hard to stop or even bog down. Hope this helps.
