I am thinking about selling my 1977 886 with rops and enclosure. The tractor is in excellent condition and everything works. It has 4000 hours on it with 18.4X34 radial tires that are in good condition and clamp on duals. I also have a 1962 Farmall 560 gas that is in excellent condition with wide front and fast hitch. It has new rear 15.5X38 rear tires. What would these tractors be worth?

Depends on your location. In Kansas the 886 with only ROPS and no cab would go from $8,500 to $12,000 depending on the sale (consignement auction less, farm/estate sale a lot more). If it had a cab w/air in the condition you describe it would go about $10,000 to $13,000 at a quality auction. The 560 is $2,500 to $3,800. People love those 886s especially if they are shiny.

It's hard to say without seeing them, but I'd say you could get anywhere from $10,000 to $13,000 for the 886 and $2500-$3000 for the 560. The best way for you to find out is to keep an eye on what similar tractors are selling for in your area.

Just wandered over from the Oliver discussion board, where the REAL quality is. 560 is not a bad tractor though. Here in MN a good 560 gas, wide front, fast hitch, good tires will bring $2250-$4000+ depending on who is selling and when. Diesels will bring even more if good.

John, Michael Jordan no longer plays Basketball perhaps because he has nothing else to prove. Supposing Oliver stopped making tractors for the same reason, and John Deere still makes them for the same reason. And your point is..... .?
