I recently bought an F12. What can I do to it to get it to pull competitively. I don't know too much about these things. Please help. It has the IH engine. What is available in line of high performance parts?
thanks for any help

the F12 is the same bore and stroke as the farmall A that later became the 504 putting out about 50 horse so I guess you could do that to your 12 but I don't know why you would want to. A properly running 12 should be able to spin it's wheels in 1st gear. Just stick to Class 1 and keep your weight down.

Ummm...are we talking about the same type of tractor...an F-12? Are we allon the same planet here? Not trying to be rude so don't take it that way. The F-12 made like 12-14 horse. The frame isn't overly engineered, nor is the clutch to differential connection. Too much weight on the front, too much power...all these things will lead to problems in short order on this tractor. I'm just now finishing my 34' F-12 and quickly dropped any ideas oh 'high' power once I tore into it. They just weren't built for that. You could definitely pull in a stock class but if it's high power pulling you want you've got the wrong tractor to start on. Of course, the frame is simple enough to squeeze a straight six into so....

Thanks so much for the input. I am only interested in being competitive in stock pulling.
