There is one of these tractors down the road from me. I don't think he would ever sell it unfortunately. I was wondering how many 400 LPG's they made. I believe this one to be a 1956 model.

Thanks,

Texasdeere, I missed out on a 400 with a stuck motor for $300. There are still quite a few around, one needs to keep his eyes open though. Good Luck,
John A.

From the posts that I have seen here I have gathered that they are not that rare. Especially down south. Parts for the LP systems (original) are a different story.
By the way, down what road in Texas is this '56 400LP that you refered to?

It's down the road a mile from me here in Santa Fe Tx. The gentleman inherited it from his father, and hauled it down from central Texas. The man's son said it was his "pride and joy". The tractor is in very good shape and has an aftermarket wide front on it also. I was hoping it was a non-runner I could pick up cheap.

Oh well, Thanks for the input Guys!
