I have a 1929 McCormick Deering 10-20 that is painted gray and would like to know if the "McCormick Deering" Script on the front of the tractor was painted white or red when they were new. I have seen some with the script painted white & others red and some left gray as the rest of the tractor. They all look good , but would like to know how they came from the factory at the time. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

It is my personal opinion, (for what that's worth) that it was painted in an off white or cream color.
