I'm trying to find two discharge valves for an old 40 series injection pump like on a WD/TD/PD-40 engine. I found a parts house that probably has them, but they need to know the I-H part #. The valve and valve seat are mated parts and are probably numbered in the book as an assembly and not separate. In the I-H diesel injection pump service manual, they are items 11 and 12 in illustration 264 on page 201 (section A). I know, I should probably buy the parts book, but my toy money is running out. Anybody have a parts book that they can tell me the part #? Thanks, Brian

You can do a proper adjustment procedure following the book or just turn the adjustment screw nearest the tractor in until you have about the width of the pawl tension when engaged. . The marks they are talking about are just so you put the pawl half way between disengaged and engaged, turn in both screws until snugged down, and then back off, I think it is 1 1/2 turns. Should be able to turn shaft with a short punch through hole in shaft when it is in middle position. ( screws are under the little cap on top and probably rusted) pretty cut and dried.
