I have only lived in texas a year but thank God I brought the super c with me when we moved. I got into a deal trading some work with it for boarding fees for our mule. It sure saves a lot of money and I love it when traffic stops on the hway to watch that old red tractor working the field. My question is it is really dusty here and I clean and grease it and change the oil in the oil bath air cleaner every time I get it out. I need a good precleaner now. When I am mowing the dust cloud is so bad my wife can't see me from the barn. That's bad! I can't find an original anywhere near here and was wondering if anyone has found another redily available brand that will fit. I have been toying with the idea of a 10 foot extension on the air pipe with a donaldson precleaner. I would rather stay original so but am open to any advice you all may have. I rebuilt my motor 2 years ago back to original specs with firecrators and everything new inside so after all that money spent I would sure hate to dust her out. My second question is concerning an IH fasthitch 2-14 inch c-20 I beleive plow that I need a new complete bottom for. Frog and all. It has one that is the wrong type to begin with and it is shot anyway. I need another plow cheif bottom to replace it. That is what it came with. Anybody got a good one laying around they could part with?

Precleaners show up on Ebay all the time, but tend to be pricey. The Super C had an optional intake extension also listed in the parts manual.

What have you got for a precleaner now? The precleaners that use the glass jar are pretty effective, and turn up every so often in the classifieds on this site. Or, you could place an ad asking for one.
As far as the extension pipe goes, the parts manuals for both the H and the M show an optional intake extension, to be used in dusty conditions, so the use of one would not be considered un-original, especially if it saves the engine.
