I've been trying to get an operators manual (from dealers) for a 484, but it seems impossible here in the UK.

Does anybody out there have one they could scan for me? I'm specifically after the wiring diagrams, but would love the whole thing if possible - don't know how big they are.

Here's hoping!

Are we attempting to trouble shoot or fix some of that wonderful Lucas electrical equipment.
As the NA saying goes been there done that.

If you are missing head or tail lights most likely the problem is the connector under the drivers seat at the back or the connector under the battery case. If you charge idiot light stays on dimley then it is the ground inside the Lucas alternator. To bad you don't have scrap yards with old GM Delco alternators. The ones with the single wire bolt on the existing alternator mount but sometimes require a longer fan belt.

Good luck

This is typical when assembling a gear type pump. Myself last summer I did the same job as you with my super M. Assemble the pump loosely and tap the side of the pump housing with a hammer twisting the pump shaft at the same time. Tighten pump housing bolts even and in inkermits of 20 lbs.Tapping the housing with a hammer will line the pump shafts.

Ted,
Try clicking on 'Tractor Manuals' on the upper left of this page. Then 'Farmall/International.' Then enter '484' and click 'Search.' See if you don't come up with what you want. Please note that, in deference to the Old Country, I used single quotes. Wm

Whoops!! I thought they were just the I&T manuals....which I've got already (but don't include a wiring diagram).

Order placed. Many thanks
