Punch below for a sample of pix from the annual show this past weekend at Alexander NY. This show gets bigger and better every year. It features several hundred antique tractors; also steam traction engines, antique construction equipment, stationary engines, a couple sawmills, tractor and truck pulls, etc. As always IHC was well represented again this year.

Cool thing this about this show is much of the equipment is in operation...

Great pics- thanks for posting them. Forgive my ignorance but whats a pumpkin launcher? Never seen anything like it in a Wisconsin show. Thanks again Pat

Pat - The pumpkin launchers are compressed air cannons that fire small (10" or so) pumpkins. That pair at Alexander were hurling the hapless gourds well over 1/2 mile, much to the delight of the crowd. They've been coming to this show for 2 or 3 years - lotsa fun to watch!

I liked the back lit photo of the old steamer climbing a hill. It's like a view back into the past.
