Hi! I'm writing this message for my husband so please excuse any technical faux pas.

His 806 tested at 140HP. He wants to know if his turbo is strong enough for that (M+W part #20E-102-6) or if he needs to turn down the HP?

Thank you for any answers (or questions)!

If it was my tractor, I'd probably just leave it like it is. There are thousands of 806, 826, and 856 tractors out there with M&W turbo kits, and most are probably in the 130-150 HP range. 806 Diesel had the toughest engine ever built, and should last quite a long time at 140 HP, as long as the oil, oil filters, and the add-on oil filter that came with the M&W turbo kit get changed every 75 hours, as M&W recomended. The thing to remember about engines is that they only produce enough horsepower as needed to do the job. In other words, the 806 will produce 140 HP only when it is being worked like a 140 HP tractor.
