I'm restoring a Farmall B 1944 model. What decals should go on this tractor? I've seen some with the "culti-vision B" decals and some with just the "B" decal. How do I know which ones I need. Tried looking threw the Farmall Letter series book I have, but it doesn't say either. Thanks for the help.

I have a 1944 BN. Should the side decal be McCormick or McCormick-Deering ?

McCormick Deering -- Guy Fay says IH dropped Deering in mid-July 1949; your tractor should not have the IH prefix, as they did not use it until about January 1947.

All Farmall A's, B's etc. have "cultivision". It's nothing more than a marketing term to point out that you can see the crop you are cultivating from the seat of the tractor.
Some tractors came from the factory with the cultivision decal, some didn't. Put whichever decal you like on your tractor. Nobody who knows what they are talking about will tell you it's wrong because either one is "correct". Sales literature from the first year (1939) spout the value of "cultivision", so it was around from the begining of the model run.
I put "cultivision" decals on my B because I like it. Put on what looks best to your eye.

Actually, I did write up something or other awhile ago.. anyway, Cultivision on the decal is correct. Very early A's didn't have the cultivision on the decal, but even the earliest Bs did (the Bs were put into production a few months after the As.
