Thanks for your response on my hydraulic foaming. Can you tell me how to flush the system to clean it out and start over? I have a two point fast hitch. Would it hurt to run the tractor for a little while with out oil to pump it dry?

Randy's comments are right on. I would not run the pump dry. Purging the system with HyTran and then refilling it with more HyTran is the best and the expense isn't that bad because the system does not hold all that much hydraulic oil.

If you try someway that would be cheaper it could cost way more in the long run in repairs.

GOOD LUCK

It would not be a good idea to run it without any oil in it. Even though there is an oil film on all of the bearing surfaces in the pump it would wear off pretty fast. The best thing would be to replace the oil, operate the two point several times to swap out the oil in the lines/cylinder, and then replace the oil again.
