Just finished cranking my super c after paint and engine restoration. How do you flush the hydraulics and the cylinder on the two point hitch and what is the proper oil to put back in it. My oil resovoir is real foamy after I use it for just a little while. The oil that comes out of it is real foamy and dirty looking. The lift is slow going up but seems to come down OK.

Orginally the book called for 30W non detergent oil. The non detergent was to eliminate the foaming that you are experiencing.

Today however just about everybody uses HiTran hydraulic oil which doesn't foam. Because of it's color you can tell if you have bad hydraulic pump seals and it is mixing the hydraulic oil with engine oil.
