my brother has a very nice 45o "gas run diesel start" tractor. the issue is what position does the tractors lever have to be in to start the gaas side of the engine? if you also happen to have a photo copy of the service/owners manual please contact me at rex_lanham@yahoo.com. in case the forward does not work.

Rex I am 61 sometimes can't remember what I had for Breakfast, and it has been 22 years since I had a 400D. I think back for run on Diesel forward for gas, throttle straight up for gas.

Rex then I set here and thought about it some more Lever back for gas forward for Diesel because I remembered about all you have to do is bump it with your hand and it will flip forward pull down throttle at same time.
