I have an 'H' with a flat that I want to take off and bring in to get repaired. The lug nut is a 15/16" but the square head bolt behind it spins with the lug. How do I stop that square bolt from spinning?
Thanks,
Gary

If the other two suggestions don't work, split the nut with a cold chisel. Sometimes you don't have to split the nut completely, just a notch in the side of the hex with the chisel will loosen it up enough to get it off.

If you can't get a open end wrench on the head of the bolt, I've used a suitable sized cold chisel to wedge in along a flat side of the bolt head and the hub to keep it from turning. Look for a spot where the bolthead will be forced into the chisel to help wedge it tightly. HTW.

Use a 15/16 open end wrench
