Thinking about buying an M

I went and looked at am M today with strait sheet,metal good belt pully,hydraulic pump,and good tires.The only thing wrong with it is that the radiator leeks.He is asking 1,000 dollars for it is it a good deal? any advice is appreciated.

grab it in a heartbeat. Shop around, you should be able to get a new radiater for around $300, maybe a little less.

Sounds like you found yourself a good M ..... they are one of the best,most sought after of all the Farmall tractors....I wouldn't let it pass....$1000 is a very good price.....I have a '51..... .you did say the only thing you could find wrong is a leaky radiator!!!!A little hard to change out but worth it----put on a new one..... ..

The price seems okay, but the main thing to consider are the rear tires, you can easily spend $500 on tubes and tires, and if the rims are shot, there is another expense.

Both rear tires have 90 to 95 percent rubber with little weathering one rim is brand new and the other is in great shape.
