Tractor has set for a few years, smokes a bit, has bad tires, no fast hitch or 3 pt. Old, faded paint, a few dents and missing emblems.

I paid $1800 for a Farmall 300 here in the NW with a WFE, but this one ran great, and had good rear tires. The "gotta have" factor also came into play with me.

I would guess at the very least it should bring $1,000. The wide front alone would bring at least $500.

The wide front really worth that much ? I have seen 2 or 3 of them around here go for $75.00 to $150.00 at auctions recently.

I guess I haven't seen any sell recently, but the last one I did see brought $300 and it was a total piece of junk. Maybe people are starting to wise up and refusing to pay outlandish prices, I can only hope. I like the prices you mentioned a lot better.

I had seen the $75.00 one sell a few weeks ago, I guess that I should have bought it, but I didn`t need it.

hind sight is 20-20, I talked to a local auctioneer just yesterday, he is having a consignment auction this Friday, he mentioned that he could sell all of the wide fronts he could get for $5-$600.
