I just noticed the the front bolster is slanted where it attaches to the steering gear housing.Which way is it supposed to be attached ( with the wheels slanted back toward the rear of the tractor? )?
Thanks

You got it! Slanted back helps keep steering centered and going straight. I think the other way would make it kind of squirrely steering.

H's and M's have the lower bolster leaning ahead, not back. Can't imagine why the C would be different.

They slanted them back to make them steer easier. This was done on tractor FAB 19066 MARCH 26,1940. If it worked on the B it also worked on the H and M. Ask any front-end mech. Wide fronts are also the same.
