What is the recommended Compression reading??

Have a Farmall 340D (D166 engine) and need to know what the compression readings should be for proper operation both dry and wet would help. Have searched the manuals but they don't give a clue to this value. TIA.//FB

Compression ratio -19.2:1, compression pressure at 100 RPM, 250-300 psi.

Some times the manauls dont give a compression ratio. For example the old 6.9 and the 7.3 liter v8's for ford and international dont give a compression ratio cause they want you to check them all and take a average
