Looking for advice on getting the clutch pedal shaft free on an early 11XX serial number.. This is the early one without a grease zerk, and after sitting for20 years, the clutch shaft is stuck.. I did remove the left brake shaft tonite with about 3 hours of work.. I plan on heating the area outside the shaft, and trying to lubricate it with something light like ATF or HyTran.. Anyone else experienced this?? Hard to believe that these early ones could not be easily greased.....

Had same problem with a Cub I bought several years ago. I used a good penetrating oil (Silkroil) and kept squirting it daily and also taking a 3# hammer and rapping the pedal. After a week it broke loose on its own. Good luck.
