cub front pulley

Anyone know the thread size in the crankshaft of a cub. Looks like you have to put a bolt in the crank to pull the front pulley.

Better make it a grade 8 bolt, grade 5 at least or it will bend. I've never had one come off easy, always needed alot of heat.

If memory serves, it's a 1/2" - 13 tpi. Make sure your puller isn't pulling against the flanges of the pulley. It's best to put a bearing separator behind the pulley to pull against. A little heat couldn't hurt when you pull it.
