I have located a super c with a wide front and have never seen one before. How many were made and how rare are these.

Not at all rare but not as common as the NF's. I see a lot of Super C's and I'd say probably a third are WF's.

I don't think they are rare. Probably depends on part of the country and use regarding whether wide or narrow. I have a wide front end and grew up with one, and never saw a narrow front end on a Super C until I was probably in my 30s...

There is no way to tell exactly how many were made. The wide front was just an optional attachment, so they didn't keep track of how many left the factory with it. I would say that they are sort of uncommon, but by no means rare or impossible to find. My Farmall 240 has a Super C wide front on it, and I will say that it isn't the best front end in the world. My main complaint is that it dosen't turn very sharp, but lengthening the arm between the steering gear box and the tie rods by 1 1/2" is supposed to correct this problem. I haven't gotten around to trying that yet, but I plan to.
