There is a rod just below the vent tube on top of the governor that connects the governor to the carburater that seems to be ajustable. My manual mentions nothing about it. Can I change this to get more power? I need all I can get when I'm grinding feed. I already set up the high idle speed in the governor, that helped but when the grinder gets over half full my engine bogs down. Thanks for the help.

This is your governor/carburetor synchronizing adjustment. With the vent cover open & engine OFF do the folowing:
1. Move the throttle lever to wide open.
2. Remove the cotterkey & pin from the clevis.
3. Rotate the carburetor rod to wide open.
4. The pin should slide in freely if the adjustment is correct. Loosen the lock nut and make necessary adjustments.
5. Reinsert the pin & cotterkey, tighten the locknut, close the vent cover, & go to work.
6.Check your spark timing.
7. Run the engine at maximum RPM & adjust the high speed mixture screw. Turn in until RPM's just begin to drop then turn out about 1 full turn for good mixture setting.
Have you considered that the "H" may just not have enough power??
