need more info on my tractor in order obtain parts.the nameplate gives the model as "international cub lo boy".serial # 18865 j.need a better model # & year.

thanks for the quick reply harold.sounds like you know your tractors.this tractor tends to overheat with summer use(mowing).i had radiator recored but no help.is there an aftermarket kit or a way to install a circulating water pump to help with cooling?

George, If you're trying to keep the radiator full and are worried about the boil-over, try this: Fill the radiator and work the tractor. The excess will overflow from the radiator leaving the correct amount of coolant in the radiator. As long as the top of the core is covered with water, you don't have a problem. Most cubs I've dealt with or heard about seek their own coolant level which is about 2" below the neck of the radiator. If you continue to lose coolant to the point that it goes below the top of the core tubes, you have a problem. There is no aftermarket water pump for the cub that I know of.
