When I bought the 200 the hyd were very weak and slow. It appeared the pump might be bad but before I tore into any thing I wanted to isolate the problem as much as possible. My son put a pressure gage on and noticed low pressure but did develope full pressure for an instant before dropping off. He concluded that the relief/ pressure regulator was hung up.

I took the back plate off the hyd unit and lo and behold the little plastic check/ball was cracked on the end preventing pressure buildup.

Picked up a new check, o rings and gasket at the IH dealer total cost 18.00. Installed every thing today and all the rockshafts and fasthitch cylinder work perfect.

Hopefully this will be of some help to anyone else with hyd problems.

was this check/ball in the hydraulic control valve by the headlights, or in the hydraulic pump? my 200 will barely pick up the 2 bottom fast hitch plow. thanks for the tip.

To Super C more and NY Bill. The ball check is in the hyd unit just ahead of the battery box. I would invest in a IT manual so you can identify the parts and they have a good trouble shooting guide. Good luck Don

My Cmore hyd. lift (fast hitch) is getting slower and weaker. Could it be the same Fix as your 200?? My touch control arms work fine, but the fast hitch lift is weak and slow....what would you suggest to fix?? Thanks, Cmore
