I was at the Pagent of steam in Canadaguia NY and I found a Set of IH PISTONS and SLEEVES that go in a W-9 , They are the overbore to 350 Ci. kit , I got four in sealed IH Cans (Never opened) and a extra piston and sleeve that is missing the wrist pin but is brand new. Does any one have and idea what they are worth? I bet tractors pullers would love these for an M or something. They are Flat Top.

i just emailed you the application based on the part number you gave me. The 97400R91 is for the Red Diamond 450 truck and power unit engine. The set will be extremely hard to move, as the applications used are K11 series trucks and R450 & U450 Power Units. With the Red Diamond 450 being a 6 cylinder that will possibly make it harder to move the set, and your best bet would be to advertise it in Hemmings Motor News or in an Antique Truck Magazine. as far as value, I have no Idea, as they are for a truck application.

Nope, you couldn't take that much material out of an M block the OD of an M sleeve is 4.120" While the OD of the 650 sleeve is 4.651" Taking that much out would put you well into the water jacket, and the sleeve lengths and compression heights and pin diameters will not allow it also.

They won't fit the WD9.. Dimensions of the sleeves, and compression height and design of the pistons are completely different, and there are 2 different piston designs used in the diesels, depending on which cyl head you have

These won't fit an M,the W-9 is a complete different engine.

They will fit in an M with engine work, boys pulling these M's are running 5 1/4 in. plus in their engines...but if their doing that their probably gonna stroke it so that piston would be too tall..

It can be done by a different process, but not with the parts we are talking about. The block alterations required for the 5.250 pistons are quite substantial, and machining to just put cylinder sleeves in isn't gonna cut it. Also, the 5.250 engines do not use cylinder sleeves, and the restrictions to the water jacket on some require that the engines not use any coolant...
