The featured tractor this year was MM. Persistant rain this past week made the grounds kinda sloppy, but it still was a good show.

Hey Bob, Thanks for sharing those pictures. I was there in 2001, we had a great time. We drank a whole pickup load of beer but thats another story.

Bob M,

Last time I was in that neighborhood it was at the Glen running FF cars before the F1 show. With all the mud and campers I see in your pictures, it looks a lot like going to Watkins Glen twenty or thirty years ago.

Don't tell me they have a real muddy spot called the Bog where the tractors that get stuck get burned? That would be a pity. Street cars I can understand, but old tractors deserve better.

Bob: As usual some real good photos, I think that recent aquisition is getting you hooked. I've never been around the MM's that much until I moved here. I don't know of a single MM in Nova Scotia, there are a few in southern New Brunswick. They look like a pretty well put together tractor, may be a bit on the clumsey side.

Thanks Hugh!

Your observation about MM tractors (well-built but a bit clumsy) is pretty good. Compared to a Farmall of equal vintage and HP, an MM is indeed heavy and ponderous. But with the slow turning engines and massive running gear on these beasts they seem to last forever. I like my MM, but the Farmalls are still my favorite! ...Bob M
