boiling sound

just restored a farmall A. after running for about 30 min and cut it off you can hear a boiling sound coming from the radiator. is this normal ? New radiator was installed during restoration. it does not have water pump. I have never seen a tractor with out a water pump.

HELP !!!!! !

As was said this is normal. just be sure to not let the coolant level get low, or it will ot circulate. I learned that the hard way years ago. Dad's C got hot enough to burn the valve cover gasket.

You don't need any help. The A, B, C have a "themosiphon" system. As the manual says: "As the engine warms up the water is heated, expands and circulates down through the radiator where the water is cooled before again circulating through the engine. Gurgling after shutdown is normal.
