We had a discussion on this topic last summer. The link to that is below. My grandfather's H has a monroe seat.

I'm not sure what year the Monroe seat started being offered as an option, but Dad drove our H home from the dealership in Feb of 1948 with a Monroe seat.

We had a 47 with one. It is not listed in the parts book, so there is no easy answer to your question.

It has a large automotive type Monroe shock absorber behind the spring, as opposed to the IH seat which has a small shock under the seat, in front of the spring.
