Can the clutch disc be removed and replaced by first removing the belly hydraulic pump on a Super H? Or is it necessary to split the tractor to accomplish this? Tom

I've had mine out through the bottom. But, when I looked at the flywheel, I decided to split it anyway. The Super H clutch (at least the Rockford) does not have the bolts that you remove and reinstall to compress the pressure plate before removal. Just remove the bolts holding it to the flywheel and it will come out.

I know on a H you can by loosening up the whole assembly along with removing the bolts that couple the clutch shaft to the transmission coupling . But I think that the Super H clutch is 1 inch bigger in diameter and I'm not sure if the pressure plate will come down out of there? But you should be able to get it loose enough to slip the disc out for a quick fix as long as your pilot bearing and throwout are in good shape. That would be your decision. What do ya say fellas?

H = 10" clutch; Super H = 10-1/2" clutch; M = 11" clutch except the later '51 M's which were 12" clutch; Super M = 12" clutch. As long as You aren't resurfacing the flywheel, I think You can get the pressure plate & clutch disc out the bottom.

Pressure plate will not come out on a late M or Super M. Not sure on the super H.
