I working in a 1952 IH MD I can get it running on gas and let it warm up and try to pull the lever to convert from gas to deisel and it just dies. I was kinda wondering how much pressure there had to be produced by the pump to make the injecters to work I have 61 PSI is that enough???? Thaks for your guys help

Yes that is enough transfer pump pressure.Try bleeding the high pressure lines at the fuel injector nozzles while it is running on the gas cycle. You may have to advance the throtle lever from the shut off position to accomplish this. Also make sure the starting valves are closing when on the diesel cycle or you won't have enough compression to ignite the fuel.
