I remember reading about a 3 point conversion that mounts without removing the drawbar on an H Farmall. The price was around 700.00 if I remember
right.Anybody recall what the name of the manufacturer is? Thanks in advance,Chris in Semo.

saginawcountytractor.com is the one you are thinking of, but it doesn't mount without removing the factory drawbar. It allows you to reinstall the factory U shaped drawbar to the 3 pnt frame. The 3 pnt hitch replaces the current vertical angle irons on the factory setup. Other hitches (like the worksaver hitch) require that you buy custom drawbar brackets in addition to the hitch and you throw away the old U shapped bar.

Going to put one on my Super H when I get it finished. Already have one on my C. On their website, the swinging portion of the drawbar rides on top of the U-shaped piece, with the strap underneath. I suppose this is to reduce interference with the horizontal bar at the bottom front of the 3 point. Looks like that makes the roller on my swinging drawbar useless? Or, did Saginaw assemble the swinging part wrong? Perhaps I could get it heated and bent so it would work.

If a person decides to put a 3 point hitch on an older tractor PLEASE do not throw away parts. A little advertising and they will sell. The parts for Old Iron can always be put to use.

I just out on on my C but I was lucky enough to find a used one for 300.00.
The one I found used I believe to be from farmstar and it seems to work alright but I have not gotten to put it to real use yet.
good luck.

Saginaw County tractor has an excellent hitch and you can leave your swinging drawbar on. $700 may seem expensive but I ordered mine on a Tues and had it the next morning. It comes fully assembled and ready to bolt on with two cylinders. An excellent choice.
