the tools boxes that Tractor Supply used to sell for Farmall H's and M's? The brackets for these tool boxes bolted to the tranny cover and the box mounted above the PTO shield. I can't afford one of the genuine IH boxes that mounted to the light bar and I can't seem to find one of these other types of box. Does anybody know who, if anybody, still sells these boxes? Thanks Larry

I agree with Mguy. I seen a newly restored H at auction one time that had a factory looking tool box on the frame rail. When I restored mine, with some sheet metal and torch and welder I made a tool box with a sloping lid to keep the rain out and everything. Mounted it on the frame rail. Not going to be needing the tools in there while driving anyways. And the best part of it is, when I'm not using it for tools, it is just the right size to ice down a six pack of beer in there. I even put holes in the bottom so the water can drain out as the ice melts.

Larry , you don't really want that tool box in front of your hyd. hoses on the breakaway holder, do you? Get a tool box and mount it on the frame rail, punch a hole in it for the grease gun hose to hang out and have at it . Mguy.

Just a thought, I've seen, and remember, an awful lot of M's and H's with tool boxes bolted directly to the pto cover.
