Are the piston/sleeve assemblies interchangable among these 4 engines? I.E., can 350 parts be put in an H? Any other combinations? With or without needing machine work? Thanks in advance. I am confident this is the place to get the answers.

Overbore kits are available for all the engines you listed. H through 350 all had a 4 1/4 stroke. The H with a bore of 3 3/8 had 152.1 cu in. The overbore without boring the block bumped it up to 3 1/2 giving it the same 164 cu in as the Super H with stock sleeves. The Super H could be bumped up to 3 9/16, 169 cu in with thinner sleeves the same as the 300 and the 300 without boring the block could be bumped up to 3 5/8. Now you could possibly bore the 350 block 1/16 larger but you would be making the block pretty thin and on an older engine with normal deterioration might go through the wall into the water passage. I for one would not bore the block of any H through 350. If your looking for a little more HP out of your H through 350 I would put the correct overbore kit with flat top pistons in it and a 350 propane head. The propane head will up your compression about 3 full points. This will make one heck of a difference. I did this to my 300 Farmall and pull 50 hp on the dyno.

To the best of my knowledge, those sleeves are not interchangeable, you can put super H sleeves in an H, but the cylinders will need to be bored out at a machine shop. You can also get what is called an overbore kit for an H which will allow the same diameter pistons as what a super H uses, but then the super H has overbore kits which will be even larger diameter. I think the same goes for the 300 and 350.
If I am wrong, someone here will correct me, but no one else seemed to be responding.

h is 3-3/8" standard. 3-7/16" oversize. super h is 3-1/2" standard. 3-9/16" oversize.

Your right Randy. And the 300 thinwall sleeves made the 300 3-5/8" like the 350, but no thinwall sleeves were avail. for the 350 so 3-5/8"/175 cid was it. But then with machine work or running an O/S piston in the block itself, not a sleeve, anything is possible.

Thanks for the reply. I have always used the available rebuild kits, but have a guy who asked if he could put 300 or 350 parts in an H. I told him what I just said but would post the question on here. I'm also aware of the change in pin diameter, which would require the rods to be changed also. If the block has to be bored,it will weaken it to some degree and I won't stand behind that. Again, thanks for the reply.
