Is there a page or link somewhere that gives the meaning of the different numbers like the 06 in the 806 or thr 66 in 766. I know the 826 is a hydro, but most of the others #'s I dont. I'm looking for an 75-125 hp farmall and would like to know as much as possible while I am shopping.

thank you all.

Chris: I wouldn't call this a hard rule but if you take a look at the number this way, they are either 4 or 6 cylinder which is always the last diget. If you look at the balance 2 or 3 digets you will not have the exact hp but will be in the ball park, so to speak. The only 2 that are off by much are 1066 and 1086 which were in the 125-130 hp range. This only applies to 06, 26, 56, 66 and 86 series tractors. I have never looked at the big articulated so don't include them.
