How difficult is it to replace a tie rod on a Super C (ran into a tree and broke mine-- don't ask!)? Thanks for any help.

You really haven't told us which part you broke, the rod or the end and which end. Not hard to change back nut off and replace with standard nut. Put the nut on flush with end of ty rod bolt and give a good firm blow with hammer. Make sure you hit it even as those threads don't stand a lot. Those pins are tapered, so they come not too badly.

Hugh,
Thanks for your reply. I broke the tie rod itself, almost exactly in the middle.
