I have a H farmall that is missing the serial number tag. It has a belt pulley and a distributor. I have a 1943 H that does not have a belt pulley. Any help is welcome. Thanks-Jeremy

The belt pully was on option, most had it, some didn't. Also optional was the PTO, the hydraulic pump, and the electrical system. Standard was a magneto and a hand crank.

You should find the serial number stamped on a boss on the block right under the front spark plug. If the engine has never been changed this would be your serial number.

What Larry means is the same # is stamped on engine block that was on serial # tag. Assuming block is original this would match your serial # tag. HTH, Mike
