If you have the steering wheel it can be repaired. Take pc-7 epoxy fill the cracks and missing parts , sand to original configration wash with rubbing alchol, apply as many coats of liquid rubber as you like 2-3. Take rubbing alchol and wipe over it. the more you rub the smoother and shinnery it will get.
it will last very long and look as good as new
the liquid rubber is called rubberize it, is is used on wrench's etc. at most hardware stores.

There are many sources for replacement steering wheels. I happened to get mine from Worthington tractor parts in St. Johns Mich. I'm sure most dealers use the same manufacturing source. The only thing to watch for is that some steering wheels have metal spokes as did most of the original letter series from 1941 to 1957, but some wheels have plastic spokes. Phone calls to your buying source will assure you that you order the right one. By going to Red Powerdcom, and then clicking on to "Links", you'll find many parts sources to look into. As to the steering wheels themselves, they are good quality, and are more a plastic than a rubber composite as the originals were which should make them last longer without cracking. The biggest challenge is getting the old one off the post after 50 to 60 yrs of seizing, but once you do and install the new one, you can look back and say, "Dang, but that looks good"

Big Red: There seems to be someone reproducing steering wheels in just every county in North America. Pick up any farm publication you will find them.

I have purchased a few from steel wheel ranch and their phone no. is 785-548 7437. They're about as cheap as you will find one.
