I saw one today the guy did a nice job looks like it belongs in there. used the back part of the second hood to extend the hood that way he had 4 gauges. But made gril hood and tank all one part, did not like that to much.

Aces, you must have been at the Plymouth Co. fair in LeMars. That's my friends tractor and suprisingly it fit in pretty easy. He had all of the parts laying around and one weekend we just put it in, then came all of the little stuff. That was the easiest way to do the hood we could think of.

aces, he's a real good friend of mine. I couldn't get your e-mail so drop me a line. No, that wasn't my 1468 at the fair grounds, mine's about a twin to it though.

I'm with Red, a picture would help to figure out what the fellow accomplished by the modification. Of course it would help if I knew what a DT 436 was to begin with! ;o )

The DT-436 (Diesel Turbocharged- 436 cubic inches) is an engine used in many of the 66 and 86 series tractors. 1466, 1566, 1486, 1586, and 5088 all have it- those all have right around 150 horsepower, which would make one mean Super M.
